UPDATES ON OUR PROJECT

Although the brace, clamp,  for the glass wall has not been installed, I am going to reveal the entire project...and all the changes that have occurred.

And you know me, I have moved things around a little, just a little!

We are thrilled we entered into this adventure and feel so fortunate we found Double D and D Remodeling.  David, his Dad and the entire Crew were outstanding.  MC and I can not say enough to praise them.  Not only do they do a fantastic job, and know what they are doing, but they have been  an absolute Joy to have had in our home.  We became "Family" and we are going to miss them.

Here are the pictures to prove my praises!!!

Before I begin, I have to relate a comment a very dear friend made the other day.  She said:  "Patty, you have to have a Loretta Young "shot"  picture of you coming through the doors, like she did every week on TV".  So guys, I did some research and found many videos of Loretta opening and entering the room to begin her weekly shows.  I searched and searched my closet, and could not find an outfit with a mid calf length, very full skirt, a wide belt and a gorgeous long sleeved blouse with a stand up collar and wide cuffs.  This will have to do!!!

Now on to all the fabulous results of three weeks work!

First the
FRENCH DOORS

OH LA LA
SO FRENCH
SO GRAND

NOW ON TO THE MAIN "EVENT"
THE SHOWER

just for the record here are
THE BEFORE PICTURES

THE AFTER  PICTURES

WE HAVEN'T USED IT YET!

WAITING FOR THE CEILING BRACE!
DUE TOMORROW OR TUESDAY?

NOW ON TO THE CHANGES BROUGHT ON
TO ALLOW THE
FRENCH DOORS
TO BE THE STAR!

SOFA HAD TO MOVE AWAY FROM THE WINDOW WALL
IT NOW FACES THE FIREPLACE
WITH ABOUT 3 FEET WALKING SPACE
BEHIND IT

I HAD A CRAZY "EPIPHANY"
TO MOVE ERICA'S BOW ART PIECE
OVER THE FIREPLACE

 REASONS.
1.   WANTED TO EXTEND THE "WHITE" IN THE ROOM UPWARDS
2.  FELT A NEED  TO TONE DOWN ALL THE DIFFERENT REFLECTIONS  THE MIRRORS CREATED.  CLEANED IT UP!
3.   THE MIRROR TILES AS A SURROUND MADE  A COOL FRAME FOR THE BOW ART PIECE.

OF COURSE...
WHAT DID I DO OVER THE BED????

FOR THE PAST FEW MONTHS I HAVE SEEN
IN PHOTOS OVER AND OVER
SMALL SUNBURST MIRRORS
OVER
KING BEDS.

SO
THAT'S
WHAT
 I
 DID!!!!

It's an easy redo if necessary, but for now it's FUN!

THE FOYER
KITCHEN
AND
THE DINING
ROOMS

HAVE NOT CHANGED IN 5 DAYS!!!
THAT'S A RECORD

STAY WITH ME
YOU
NEVER
KNOW
WHAT
WILL HAPPEN
NEXT

    1. A model....how funny.
Thank you so much Kathysue. I agree both are functional. I always felt the tub was a waste of "real estate".

    1. It looks so much larger, and so functional. The tub was a waste of "real estate"! That dress! It's actually a Tommy Bahama dress I bought for MC's company's convention trip to Hawaii in 2000!!!!!!
