Both MC and I are exhausted and relieved. The Tour was a huge success and the proceeds were over the top! We had half the homes than the previous year BUT we were still able to raise over $1000. I am so proud of all our gracious Homeowners, Crafters, Vendors and the volunteers....They did an outstanding job in making this a success!
The weekend began with a "Dress Rehearsal" of the 6 Homes. Everyone involved toured the homes Saturday morning. This was the only way the Homeowners, Craft People, Vendors and the volunteers could have a chance to see the homes!
Saturday afternoon, MC and I helped those involved with the Gift House set up their tables. We had hoped to have held the Gift House in an Inventory home, but our Very Good Sales Associates sold all of them!!! So, we had it at the Sales Center. It was amazing..... two huge rooms overflowing with goodies!!!
I am excited in sharing with you some of the highlights of the weekend!!!
The special feature.....they converted a bedroom into one fantastic closet!!!!
The garlands on the pendant lighting ......so clever!
A Santa collection to die for!!! These are only a few!!!
Now, have you ever seen a laundry room with "Gift Wrapped" cabinets....Love it!!
Now, this is whimsy

Love this tour. That flocked tree is my favorite. White and gold. It looks like it was a huge success. What's for New Years?

ReplyDeleteWonderful job!! The tour was perfect...not too much to see, but enough. Did not feel rushed to get to all houses. The Gift House was such a nice addition, too. Many nice crafts offered. Thanks for a job very well done!

ReplyDeleteSuch a wonderful tour of homes. Being a fan of gold for Christmas decor, yours is my favorite. I also have a fondness for Father Christmas figurines that were shown. Can we get more info on your blue former sweatshirt?
ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteFor those that check in to the Comments, I thought this a great location to apologize for lack of posts this week.
I have been walking around with a sinus infection that has caused me a lot of discomfort. I have been unable to "function" in a normal manner!!! Now, that's saying something..a "Normal" manner for me is NOT NORMAL!!
I should be up to par in a few days.
MC and I are working on the Painting of the Kitchen!!! It's half done! Can't wait to show you all.
Patty
