HOLIDAY TOUR OF HOMES.....

DAY ONE!!!

Choosing tree........

This afternoon, MC and I ventured out to our favorite Christmas Tree place, Pike's Nursery.
We had a huge choice!!!

They are flocking trees all day long......

So hard to pick the "PERFECT" one !

THIS IS THE ONE!
IT SPOKE TO US

GENTLY PUT IT IN THE TRUCK
AND VERY CAREFULLY
DROVE HOME
Thank you Joan and John for the use of your fabulous truck!
It took Steve a few minutes to remember how to "reach" the clutch, but very quickly it all came back!!!

HERE IT IS
HOME!!!!!

I can't wait to get the magic started next week!!!

  1. I mist going to the tree lot with our boys, we use to have so much fun every year picking out a tree. They would play tag and run around, good times.

  3. Years ago we were looking for the "perfect tree" when a man told us there was no such thing as a "perfect tree" or "perfect wife". I assured him that the same holds true as in a "perfect husband".

  4. I can't believe they flock trees there. I'm so jealous! I've wanted one for the longest time and they don't do that anywhere around here!

  5. What a gorgeous tree! So, does the flocking lock in and preserve the tree? You will work your magic on this tree and it will be gorgeous. Can't wait to see the results.

  10. Is that a regional thing to flock the trees? I have never seen that done except on the fake ones. It looks like it is wonderfully shaped.
