I'm not getting used to being up this early guys!!!! I don't think they know that my usual "wake-up" is around 8:45am!!!
Everyone went to work in the bath so fast, I almost missed that the FRENCH DOORS were resting next to the back windows!!!!!
And it will be installed where the two middle windows are.
Meanwhile.......
Back in the bathroom......the pipes have been buried and the concrete is drying.......
While the concrete was drying......the work on the door BEGAN!
outside
Now, this guy (in the red shirt) doesn't think we caught him on camera!
He has tried to avoid all of our pictures.
GOT YA!
THE OUTSIDE IS
NOW READY TO HAVE THE WINDOWS REMOVED!
After doing the preliminary outside work, the concrete dried and the work on the bath continued!
HERE IS OUR "SEAT"! |
With that done
the work proceeded back in the Great Room getting the windows ready to "Pop" out!
This has been a very busy day! The crew went from room to room....starting in the Bath ....then to the Terrace ..... back to Bath, then by the end of the day .... to the Great Room......
Wow....MC and I had quite a time keeping up with them!
I'm not sure when the tile work begins in the bath?
We are waiting for the Glass subcontractor to come to measure the window and the "glass wall" for the shower.
WE ARE SET FOR TOMORROW!!!!!
I am not sure how I will treat the drapery panels once the door is in. One thought is to "treat" the windows with a panel on each side of each window. The French Doors in the center. Not sure. Have to wait and see how the space looks, once the doors are in.
One interesting sideline!
MC and I have been using the Guest Bath. We had no idea that the Spare Tire mirror, that looked so great over the regular mirror, would block the light. Sorry Patti, Mark and Maggie.....how you could "see" last weekend is a mystery!
The mirror has been removed. I think I found a new spot! Have to wait for MC to hang it....
to be continued................................
If I miss your blog for even a day, you're transforming the whole house. It is soooo exciting and worth the "early" wake up call Can't wait to watch it transform!!
