Choosing tree........
This afternoon, MC and I ventured out to our favorite Christmas Tree place, Pike's Nursery.
We had a huge choice!!!
They are flocking trees all day long......
So hard to pick the "PERFECT" one !
THIS IS THE ONE!
IT SPOKE TO US
GENTLY PUT IT IN THE TRUCK
AND VERY CAREFULLY
DROVE HOME
Thank you Joan and John for the use of your fabulous truck!
It took Steve a few minutes to remember how to "reach" the clutch, but very quickly it all came back!!!

I mist going to the tree lot with our boys, we use to have so much fun every year picking out a tree. They would play tag and run around, good times.
ReplyDeleteThose were they days......Ha!
DeleteIt's gorgeous, Patty!! I LOVE flocked trees ~ I'm sure when you're finished it will stunning!
ReplyDeleteI love them too. They are the best! Don't dry out and the needles don't shed!
Deleteoooh awesome! i love flocked trees!
ReplyDeleteLove , love them.
DeleteYears ago we were looking for the "perfect tree" when a man told us there was no such thing as a "perfect tree" or "perfect wife". I assured him that the same holds true as in a "perfect husband".
ReplyDeletePRICELESS!!!
DeleteI can't believe they flock trees there. I'm so jealous! I've wanted one for the longest time and they don't do that anywhere around here!
ReplyDeleteI couldn't either! We hadn't seen them for years when we lived in California. We now enjoy one every year! They are the best!
DeleteWhat a gorgeous tree! So, does the flocking lock in and preserve the tree? You will work your magic on this tree and it will be gorgeous. Can't wait to see the results.
ReplyDeleteYes, it preserves it for over a month!!!! No shedding.....Perfection!
DeleteLove your flocked tree Patty! I know you are going to make it even more fabulous. Wish I knew of a place here where I could get one of those flocked trees. they're gorgeous!!!
ReplyDeleteWe were so excited when we realized they sold them here in the Atlanta area. Hadn't seen them in years! (Like the 1960's!!!!!)
DeleteWoo hoo...so exciting. Can't wait to go get mine!!
ReplyDeleteBig question! Best spot for the tree!
DeleteBeautiful!! This is so exiting!! I love Christmas and I can't wait to get my tree too! :)

I've been a busy little bee and have it all done. The Great Reveal ....next Sunday, December 8th at the Tour
DeleteIs that a regional thing to flock the trees? I have never seen that done except on the fake ones. It looks like it is wonderfully shaped.
