Didn't take long......
MC and I put the black, large circle rug back in the Dining Room this morning...Took all of 10 minutes!
With MC's help the top was a breeze to take off, the furniture a cinch to push aside and not all that much tugging to get the rug back in the Dining Room.
We now will venture out with a new project. Finding a broadloom carpet that can be cut to size and bound. Thinking of 12 x 12 to 12 x 14. Haven't decided yet. (depends on the cost!)
Will look for something that is a patterned, textured black. See what's out there!
Keep you all up to date.....
It feels so good to have a new project to work on!!!

It's a good thing you have MC.....my husband does not think I'm cute anymore when I start changing things:).
ReplyDeleteHa, It's not because I'm cute!!! It's to save my life by not doing myself!!! MC is a keeper for sure.
ReplyDeleteAt least you're getting a lot of exercise! :) Have a wonderful Memorial Day, you two!
ReplyDeleteFor sure! It's my "daily" routine!
ReplyDeleteI just adore the Adventures of Patty & MC lol.
ReplyDeleteAdventures they are....
ReplyDeleteAlways trying something new...
More to come!
I love that you change things around your house so much- it lets me know I'm normal for always doing it too! I look forward to seeing what you find for your newest rug.
ReplyDeleteThere are a lot of us Crazy Movers out there!!!! I think we are the normal ones!
ReplyDeleteOh Patty, just love seeing what you and MC are up to. Love the circle rug in the dining room - perfect that it mimics the round table. Can't wait to see you're new one!!
ReplyDeleteYes, Yes, that's why it looks better. The circles mimic the table! Why didn't I see that?????
ReplyDeleteI wish I could use black rugs in our home too. Never works out though with our cats :( Especially having a white cat is not a god thing with a black rug ;)
ReplyDeleteAgree a white cat and a black rug don't live together very well!
ReplyDeleteyou crack me up! i loved seeing the photo with the dining room chairs on their backs and the table base with nothing on top (when you were doing the move yourself)....that's sooo something I would do when just trying to "test" a look out to see how it will be. can't believe you changed it back the very next day...hahahah. but now you know how it looks!
ReplyDeleteI have this thing...I have to SEE it!
ReplyDeleteHi Patty! LOVE the dark side board in the dinning room AND the circular patterned rug is PERFECT. It sort of mimics the round table and chairs ~ very well suited for the space! It's fun to change things up a bit:)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your weekend ahead! xxleslie
The "side board" is my Hope Chest from 1956!!!
ReplyDeleteYes, that circle rug will stay in the dining room for sure!!!
