PART 2 OF "WHILE MC WAS OUT" DEDICATED TO LINDA AND JESSIE

The Blog World is so, so,  GREAT!  This post is dedicated to the following JEWELS!

Linda from My Crafty Home Life
http://mycraftyhomelife.blogspot.com/

 Jessie, from Mix and Chic
 http://www.mixandchic.com/

These two very talented and generous girls, both made the same comment on my Post last night.  I love reading all the comments I receive.  You have no idea how much they mean to me!!!

Well back to Linda and Jessie.....they suggested that the Chinoiserie Panels be HUNG not leaning as I had them.

Doesn't take much to make me try something......I immediately had MC read the comments and this morning he was out buying the necessary hooks, etc.  Another excuse for a trip to Lowes!

GIRLS IT'S DONE!

PS....MC didn't notice that while he was at Lowes this morning, I switched the mirrored desk with the Hope Chest!  When I looked at the Post pictures late last night and then when I got up this morning I was positive that something wasn't quite what I wanted.  Figured it out....it was too light and leggy.  I needed the heavier piece in the dining room with the table and chairs.  The Mirrored Desk looks at home in the Foyer.  Another "first" for it!

I do have a life, I really do.......

  1. Patty, you are quick! Previously, that area looks pretty, now it looks showstopping!

Hanging the panels made such a huge difference, don't you think? I love it! Also, thanks for the shout out. You are always so kind. :)

    Enjoy your weekend!

  2. I love the changes you made - everything looks GREAT. Hanging the panels were such a good move and moving the chest in instead of the mirrored table made a huge difference too. How nice of your blog friends to make the suggestions.
I also find that looking at a room through the lens of a camera helps me see the problems so much better.

  3. Are you kidding!! Wow MC works super fast!First the swat with the mirrored piece and the chest is perfect. I love that mirrored piece in your entry, and the black and gold compliment your dining room pieces. I love the panels hung...do you? Now I can see the wonderful artwork on them more clearly. Thanks for the mention. Please tell MC that he did a wonderful job.

  11. Great suggestion to hang the panels. Once again, I'm blown away by how quickly MC gets these things done. Could you please send him to Miami for a few weeks? My only concern is that they now cover some of the paneling but I don't see a way around that. I think the problem here Patty is that you simply have a fab house chock full of amazing pieces and great details. Not a bad problem to have.
