Dear Erica,The "jug" is what the colonists used for bird nests. They attached them to their homes and the birds "nested". As I alluded to I wonder what the interior design in the birds home was like?
I never knew that's what those where for. Birds had is so easy back then...haha. Now they have to figure it out themselves! Patti
